Hartzell Series 54G Belt Drive Vaneaxial Fan – 14″

The Series 54G Belt Drive Vaneaxial Fan is manufactured by Hartzell Air Movement and is completely assembled and ready to install upon arrival. Available with either a VA or VB 7 bladed airfoil propeller, cast as one piece of 319 aluminum, the propeller complies with Federal Specification QQ-A-601E and ASTM B26.

The rugged one piece design includes aerodynamically designed guide vanes and a housing with a minimum 10 gauge continuously welded rolled carbon steel, in compliance with the AWS D1.1 standard. Coated using a phosphatized surface preparation and industrial grade air dry enamel paint, the steel drum housing includes continuously welded steel flanges and predrilled mounting holes.

The fan shafts are ground and polished carbon steel, and the heavy duty, self aligning bearings have a minimum L10 life of 50,000 hours. Fixed pitch drives are standard, and the “V” type fan belts are heat, oil and static resistant and sized for continuous service. Belt tensioning can be adjusted by modifying the motor position.

The fan assembly is dynamically balanced at the Hartzell factory prior to shipping and the fans are balanced in accordance with AMCA Standard 204, fan application category BV-3 (comparable to Grade G6.3). Fans are manufactured in accordance with Hartzell’s standard quality assurance procedures. Fan performance is based on tests conducted in Hartzell’s AMCA accredited laboratory in accordance with the latest revision of AMCA Standard 210 for air performance and AMCA Standard 300 for sound performance. Fans are licensed to bear the AMCA Certified Air Performance Rating Seal.
